Gaige Weseen

Hi! This is my first year teaching at Olds High. I am excited to teach in the community that I grew up in, as well as the high school I attended. I began my journey in education as an Educational Assistant at Horizon School in Olds and then started my teaching career in Spruce View. While I was in Spruce View I taught high school Social Studies, as well as Grade 9 English. I am excited to share my passions of history, reading, and writing with the students and to encourage them to dig deeper into the literature they come into contact with in their daily lives. 

Outside of work I enjoy being active by playing hockey in the winter and golf in the summer. I also enjoy reading, writing, and watching tv/movies in my spare time.
