Hola. I am an educational assistant here at Olds High and the coordinator of our UNESCO activities. I am beginning my 13th year here and work in a variety of areas in the school. I take pleasure in inspiring people and celebrating the uniqueness of each person I interact with. Some of my interests include social justice, the environment and learning about cultures. I am currently trying to learn Spanish. Our school has a large variety of extra-curricular activities that our students can get involved in and some of the ones I enjoy helping with are the Interact Club, Environment Club and making costumes for our Drama productions. My favourite quote is “It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness” and I strive to be a light wherever I find myself.
